Winter Conditioning
Winter Conditioning is an important part of our preparation for the spring rowing season. This season, our training will be broken into three major areas:
Registrations/payments received after Dec 9th will be charged a $50 late fee.
The program will run from Dec 9th - Feb 14th in the BWHS field house after school until approximately 6:30 PM each day.
- STRENGTH: strength training workouts designed to build muscle mass, using a blend of isokinetic and isometric strategies
- CONDITIONING: aerobic and anaerobic workouts designed to increase O2 in aerobic and anaerobic respiration, building stored energy capacity on a molecular level
- ERGING: workouts designed to improve stroke fundamentals with repetitive muscle memory and aerobic conditioning
- We are pleased to offer a 3 and 5 day program, so rowers can choose what best accommodates their schedule:
- 3 Day Program: $105 (M, W and F)
- 5 Day Program: $105
- We are asking for an optional donation to support the capital needs of the crew team. The team has invested in several new boats and it would be fantastic if you could help pay down some of this debt. You will find a donation option in the form.
